Library Rules

   

🕒 General Conduct:-

• Absolute Silence: Maintaining perfect order and silence is mandatory in library premises.
• Food or Drinks: Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited inside the premises.
• Attendance & Identity: Students must often mark their attendance and carry a valid Identity Card to enter or use services. 

📚 Borrowing & Returns:-

• Borrowing Limit: Students typically borrow 1 book at a time for class 4 to 8 and from 9 onwards can borrow 2 books at a time for  a period of 7 to 15 days.
• Non-Issuable Items: Reference books, magazines, and periodicals are for library use only and cannot be taken home.
• Renewal: Books may be reissued if there is no pending demand from other students.
• Clearance: A "No Dues Certificate" is required at the end of the academic session or before leaving the school. 

Fines & Damages:-

• Late Fees: Fines for overdue books are ₹1 per day.

• Loss or Damage: If a book is damaged or lost, the student must either replace the book or pay its double cost plus a processing fee.
• Identity card: identity cards are must with students to borrow books form library, without identity card the book will not be issued. 

🎒 Prohibited Items:-

• Personal Belongings: Bags, personal books, water bottles and pens are not allowed inside.
• Gadgets: Mobile phones and unauthorized photography are strictly Prohibited in library.
